Dispatch Broadcasting’s WBNS-TV and Clear Channel Media and Entertainment’s WCOL-FM Columbus, Ohio, joined The Salvation Army and Walmart for the "A Helping Hand for the Holidays" campaign, which provides toys and food for central Ohio families. WBNS-TV and WCOL-FM promoted the event by asking viewers to donate new, unwrapped toys or cash.
