Fox Television’s WNYW-TV New York stepped up on Election Day. Election officials set up tents at Public School 180 in Rockaway Park to allow residents displaced by Sandy to vote. Unfortunately, one of the two generators that was illuminating the voting tents stopped working. WNYW-TV offered its satellite truck to provide needed power. This video shows how an WNYW-TV truck helped to light the make-shift area so voters could see paper ballots.
