Sandusky Radio’s KRWM-FM Seattle’s Teddy Bear Patrol maintains an ongoing partnership with Multimedia Seattle in supporting local youth survivors of domestic violence. “A Bear for Me?” provides Infant and Toddler Arrival Bags to young children entering Domestic Violence Shelters with their mothers. The bags contain necessary personal items for infants and toddlers such as diapers, baby wipes, a soft new baby blanket, a new pacifier and a new teddy bear. The items comfort children during a vulnerable and traumatizing period. For the last two decades, the Teddy Bear Patrol has provided quiet outreach to Seattle’s critical organizations, including Providence Hospice and Home Care of Snohomish County, Multimedia Seattle’s Children’s “A Bear for Me?” program and regional police and fire departments.
