Sarkes Tarzian-owned WRCB-TV Chatanooga co-sponsored a debate with the Chattanooga Times Free Press on May 21 for the candidates running for Tennessee’s third Congressional District seat. The debate, which was held on the campus of The University of Tennessee-Chattanooga, featured the GOP incumbent, Rep. Chuck Fleischmann and two of his three challengers, Weston Wamp and Ron Bhalla. The event was streamed live on both the station’s website and the newspaper’s website. WRCB will co-sponsor a future debate featuring the Democratic candidates.
