Broadcasters Foundation Golf Tournament Raised Over $150,000

The 2011 Broadcasters Foundation of America’s Celebrity Golf Tournament, held in Tarrytown, N.Y., raised more than $150,000 for broadcasters in need of assistance. The Foundation expects to grant $600,000 in aid this year, a 20 percent increase over 2010. Evercore Wealth Management sponsored the tournament. Greater Media Chief Executive Officer Peter Smyth and Katz Television Group President Jim Beloyianis served as co-chairs. More than 140 broadcasters, celebrities and athletes participated.
