Cumulus Media-owned WJR-AM Detroit personalities Mitch Albom and Ken Brown raised an incredible $1,500,000 to benefit local families and community members during the "SAY Detroit Radiothon" on December 10. The annual event, currently in its ninth year, brought together local and national celebrities, including national media figures CNN’s Anderson Cooper, NBC’s Mike Tirico and ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

The event was held virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Guests participated remotely, while Albom and Brown hosted the 15-hour broadcast from a socially distanced table in an empty mall.
