WBNS aired “Shining the Light: Real Talk on Racism” on June 25. It isn’t always the overt reactions that people think about. There are little things that happen every single day where you react based simply on the color of another person’s skin and you probably don’t even realize it. During this special, they looked at the history of the black community in Columbus, "the talk" that all black parents have to have with their children, economic access for people of color, and cultural education.
