Boston Stations Host Live Debate

PBS-owned WGBH-TV Boston held a democratic primary debate on June 1 featuring Representative Joe Kennedy III and Senator Ed Markey (D-MA). Initially planned for mid-March, the debate was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The hour-long debate, postponed until June 1, was held through a partnership between NPR’s WBUR, Hearst’s ABC affiliate WCVB, MassLive, WGBH, The Boston Globe, and the University of Massachusetts Boston’s John W. McCormack Graduate School of Policy and Global Studies.
