KSAS and KMTW Support Animals and Literacy

Sinclair’s Fox affiliate KSAS-TV and myNetworkTV affiliate KMTW Wichita co-sponsored “Night of the Living Zoo” the weekend before Halloween.  Several thousand families enjoyed fun, safe Halloween activities, including the stations’ “Scary-O-Kee” karaoke stage.  Proceeds supported the Sedgwick County Zoo’s animal winter food fund.

KSAS and KMTW also co-sponsored the “Polar Xpress” literacy fundraiser. About 200 people attended the ‘breakfast-for-dinner’ event, which raised nearly $3,000 for the Head Start Kid Scholarships and another $2,500 for Child Start’s programs.  Activities included coloring sheets and a visit from Santa.
