Univision Houston hosted its 36th Annual "Festival de Mayo," a one-day celebration of Hispanic culture featuring live performances by regional and Mexican artists, authentic food and cultural exhibits. Ten non-profit organizations provided information on education, training, employment services, parent education for at-risk communities and support programs to deal with alcoholism. More than 40,000 people attended the event.
