KWTX-TV Collects 1.9 Million Lbs. of Food for Local Pantries

Gray Television’s CBS affiliate KWTX-TV Waco, Texas, partnered with the Boy Scouts of America, the Texas Army National Guard and the H.E.B. Grocery Company to host the 24th annual Food for Families drive to collect non-perishable items for local food banks and pantries. The event gathered 1.4 million pounds of food. Over the past 24 years, KWTX-TV and its partners have collected more than 19 million pounds of donations.
