Hearst’s WGAL-TV Collects Thousands of Coats and $229,000 for The Salvation Army

Hearst-owned WGAL-TV Lancaster, Penn., recently held the 25th annual "Coats for Kids" coat drive and 18th annual telethon to benefit the local Salvation Army. The exact number of coats donated to The Salvation Army is still being tabulated, but is expected to be in the thousands. WGAL-TV’s telethon also raised $229,000 for the Salvation Army.
